Three days after Jesus’ death, his followers discover that his tomb is empty. Then they encounter him walking, talking, and eating! These grieving friends slowly realize that Jesus has passed through death into a new creation.
Jesus tells his followers that the same divine power that returned him to life lives in those who follow him. Then he sends them out to share the good news of his resurrection life, news that’s still true for us today: God’s love is stronger than death, and his Kingdom has no end.
